Chairman Oh, who unanimously became the 5th president of the Women's Football Federation in November 2008, later won a second term and ran alone this year to become the 9th president.

In 2009, the following year after he first became the chairman, he has made various efforts to develop women's soccer in Korea by launching the WK League, which is equivalent to the Women's Business League, and establishing the home base system.

However, he missed both the Korea Professional Football Association award ceremony and the rookie draft event on Wednesday due to his chronic illness. He had been hospitalized at a hospital in Seoul, but he failed to recover his health and passed away.

The funeral home of the deceased was set up in Room 30 of the Asan Medical Center in Seoul. The coffin will be borne at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, and the burial site will be Suwon City Crematorium.
